Ingestre Park Golf Club has some of the best practice facilities in the area. From a 250 yd practice area to a pitching and bunker area. Here you can hone in your golf skills to help you lower you handicap and enjoy your golf that little bit more. There is nothing quite like practicing of grass to get the same feel and feedback as you do on the golf course
The practice area is 250 yards long and over 100 yards wide, meaning you can practice with every club and not worry that you are swinging too close to other golfers. The practice area is also used for lessons with the club pros and should you be looking to invest in the latest golf equipment, you can also trial clubs here.
Located at the back of the Club House is a 9 hole putting green. The green has an array so slopes and flat putts and is long enough to practice the lengthy putts you may find one the course.
Short Game Practice Areas
There are 2 short game practice areas located at either side of the Practice area. One for chipping practice and one for pitching and bunker play.
Important Health and Safety Notice re the Practice Area – August 2017
Due to nuisance golf balls landing in nearby properties and the inherent danger thereof, the Board has decreed that, for the immediate future, golfers are forbidden to hit golf balls beyond 150 yards on the Practice Area. This distance is indicated by yellow markers.
The chipping area has a distance restriction of 100 yds.
